Issue

In order to be able to extract all receipts from our users, we encourage them to connect all their inboxes to our data collection pipeline. However, some users connect alias inboxes as well which results in receipts collected twice. The email providers regard these emails as completely distinct email objects and give them different IDs & details, so our existing deduplication methods do not filter these emails out.

Impact

You will notice a slight spike in order volumes, item volumes as well as Total transaction values in the given period.
